But Florida State at 0-2 is.

rankings will take care of themselves.
And we likely will be talking Top 5 and potential playoff position
Who gives a flying fuck what the rankings say now? They are meaningless
Beat USC, Stanford, Miami (the real game not the softee), NC and NC State....and hope they all win their games
Not a real tough schedule this year....USC likely our only challenging game
Could come back to bite us
NC State just beat Florida State. Miami down there will be slightly up for us and have talent. USC, well the underperform with their talent but they have talent. North Carolina lost their great QB from last year so hopefully it won't be like 2008. Stanford may be improved by year end and of course play physical. We have to play well to beat them all.
Most of what you said was pure speculation and jibberish; we have three ranked teams left on our schedule.
Don't make generalized bullshit comments like they will be tough down there.
I said we can go 11-1 because the schedule is setting up nicely.
Don't try to make something out of nothing.
schedules. Which teams are tougher on the schedule? The ones that are ranked high early because of talent, expectation and prior year play. When you beat a ranked or tough team early is that more proof that you beat a good team? Because I believe there is a fine line between winning and losing and when a team is feeling good about themselves I think they are tougher at the time when their ranking is higher.
And the schedule is setting up nicely to support that
Even 10-12 isnt shabby after last years debacle
11-1 makes us a "contenda"

That feels about right

But for any one call or play we'd be in the conversation. Like the growth week to week of our team so time may help us.
ND's only loss is by a point to the #8 team in the country, yet remain unranked. Ohio State gets destroyed by OU and yet they are still in the top 10 @ #9. These polls are a joke.
...that one-point loss to them doesn't look that bad if ND takes care of business the rest of the way.
