I made comments during the game about ND not being tough enough. In the 4th quarter they proved me wrong. That showed some toughness and grit and made plays when they had to. I still think ND's receivers could be more aggressive in going after the ball and be more aggressive against QBs running the ball. For most of the season their conditioning has taken over games in the 4th quarter.

Smythe has done a nice job this year, coming up with one critical catch after another.

Wimbush had a few bad throws early. How many drops? 3? 5? He still finished 9 of 18.
Go back and watch Brady Quinn. He looked like a great QB because he had 3 guys (all 6'4" and taller) that made sick catches on a regular basis for him. BQ threw as many balls in the dirt or 5 yards over guys heads as anyone I've ever seen. Yet he's a great QB and BW is a RB playing QB?
who has been watching Wimbush this year knows that he is not anywhere near Quinn in passing skills. He looks more like Crist than Quinn.

That's sad. Real sad.
Not even close. Not to mention as a Jr. Quinn could have left for the draft. Wimbush is a Jr. and isn't even remotely close to talking about the NFL.
Wimbush isn't even in the same fucking league.
