What we scream at the TV in the privacy of our own homes, should not be repeated on social media re: players.

sophomore athletics-wise, you know he did not have a lot of reps the last couple of years. He will get better. He has the potential to pull off a great performance because of his exceptional running ability and he played well in the last drive of the first half(showing great guts and determination to score on the last play of the half) and played well in the second half when it really mattered. Needs a little help from his receivers although Boykin and Stepherson certainly came through despite one drop from Stepherson on perfect pass.
of her facebook message..If I was Brandon, I'd be upset about it..Wasnt it Beano Cook who said the coach of ND, the QB of ND is right up there with Pres of the US for pressure/scrutiny, whatever term he used..The message tells me someone is thin skinned, and the QB at ND needs to be thick skinned, if he's going to be successful. He looked overwhelmed at Miami, probably heard about it on social media, and she reacted..
It comes with the territory of being the QB at maybe the nation's highest profile program..If you cant take the heat, the job is not for everyone..
She just said don't post on his page to "keep his head up" when he loses and then say nothing during the good times. Evidently she has a problem with someone writing something like "everybody has an off day. You'll do better next week". And then God forbid they don't pat him on the back when he does good. I don't get the uproar when there is no mention of personal insults or malicious attacks on his ability as a QB.

It's just not your post, it was the original "Be nice to Brandon" message as well. I don't see where the big problem is. I think you're right on being thin skinned and being a QB at ND do not go well together.
The kid has poor passing technique - so he is learning to throw the ball on-the-job..So called big-time programs like ND cannot afford this type of learning curve -see the Miami and Georgia performances...he was not prepared out of high school to throw accurately...he cannot even hit a receiver 10' away...he is certainly a very talented kid and, hopefully will get better at passing but he may end up as a runner next year.
and this is like deja vu with you.....
Back on Saturday, against the UAB Blazers, he didn't record any stats at all, even though it was a blowout. Felipe Franks is the man now.

Franks had a nice day, tossing two TD's and no INT's, so unless he gets sidelined for the rest of the season, Zaire's going to ride the bench.
I doubt that they want to waste any more reps on a 5th year senior backup, since he's not going to have any value going forward after the season is over.
Why do you think Zaire left?
Kizer played over Zaire because he was a better qb. Wimbush would have played over Zaire because he was a better qb. How many qbs at Florida played over Zaire because they were better qbs?
I really like Zaire, but he isn't nearly as dynamic a runner as Wimbush. He's good, but just a different style. I think BW can get there as a passer, but just needs to clean up his mechanics and get his head straight. We'll see next fall.
And Theismancarr reacted exactly as I thought he would

Neither will play on Sunday or likely even be drafted.
But that's just me. Nothing to argue about. I can see a case either way.
as fast, he still had a lot of make you miss. Remember he completed every pass he threw against Texas when he started other than 2 drops. He hit two big bombs in the first two games he started where the receiver did not break stride one bit. He also was like 22 for 26 against LSU with close to 100 yards rushing. If you remember I had mentioned last year that I speculated the Kizer would leave even after a poor season, which he did. I was hopeful Zaire would stay and pick up where he had been after two starts in 2015 but he didn't, yet was at least very classy when he left. He had a run of bad luck that was unbelievable. But Winbush has a chance, hopefully Jurkovec has everything. We haven't seen him yet.
I will give you another possibility. Winbush improves and has a great year next year while Jurkovec redshirts and then becomes a great player for us. We can hope.
