Except that Diggs had to use two hands to catch the ball. Three defenders missed him.
The state of Minnesota needed and deserved that finish. The next to lose will be Philadelphia then New England.
I'll admit that I nearly turned off the TV after New Orleans took the lead with a field goal and left the Vikings 30 seconds to go 80 yards.
The catch yesterday was not even close to ours.
Actually felt sorry for her when talking about it this morning.
range...
Brees threw a pick
the double pass was wide open the WR threw a bad ball
There were hundreds of other plays
Peyton mentioned this in his presser. You win, lose as a team...and always show dignity and respect.
Excellent game by both teams.
as an undersized QB in Texas, the Minnesota qb admired Brees and how he made throws, plays behind giants.
cool story. Good for both teams.
Bummed for Manti and Chase Dominguez a family school friend
happy for Harrison, Rudolph, Floyd, and Sullivan (is he still on the Vikings)?
GO IRISH !!!!
Out to be fired. Yet, I see it all of the time.
You see most high school kids use the proper technique. You watch college football and you will start to see the "kill-shot" mentality and less of the hit and wrap technique. You watch the NFL and it looks like more than 50% of the tacklers forget proper technique and want to lay the guy out with the big hit.
But I think the play in Minneapolis was a simply miscalculation by the defensive back. It looked to me like as the DB ran up to Diggs, he intended to first try and play the ball. He then slammed on the breaks so that he did not get called for pass interference. Then when Diggs jumped and caught the ball, the DB was off balance and simply had no choice but to try and dive at the legs of Diggs. He missed and the rest is history. I feel for the kid.
