What’s all the negative talk leading into a new season about our starting QB? Can you just wait until a mistake is made? Here’s what I do know. Wimbush is an extremely talented football player. He will play on Sundays, you can bank on that barring injury. He deserves another shot at QB. If that doesn’t pan out, I’m sure our coaching staff will make him a running back...or another spot where he will excel.
Easy guys....plenty of time to complain and judge after the story starts to unwind.....until then let’s be optimistic.
Go Irish_____ beat Michigan!
I hope he has a great year and Kelly is smart enough to run an offense that plays to his strengths (have serious doubts about this)...but Wimbush will not be an NFL quarterback. I just don't see it.
Of course I am not the Pope and am not speaking infallibly....

One day of a couple of bad throws and too many people are either throwing themselves on their swords or throwing Brandon under the bus. It's all too easy to get frantic when you see a practice out-take like we all saw on Saturday (I'm certainly guilty of real jitters after watching it). Kelly said Brandon looked great on Friday and some ND media (Mike Frank or Pete Sampson) have confirmed that from other sources. I hear he looked really good on Thursday as well, but the media wasn't there to report on it.
I confess I'm a real BW fan. There's just something about the guy I really like (I fee the same way about Shayne Simon and the Ademiola brothers. I wonder if St. Peter's teaches a class on likability!). Like we all do, I want BW to be successful. At this point there's no good reason to be all in a kerfuffle about him. We have three weeks to Sept. 1 and that's a lot of time to iron things out. We have to compare last Saturday to all of spring ball and the other days of this fall camp.
MICHIGANUS DELENDA EST!
