Yes, this is totally not a Brian Kelly thing to do. I don't think the Standford teams the past few years are as good as the one's in earlier years. Their comeback last week was impressive, but I think we might have a chance to get them on the ropes early and put this one away.

That's asking a lot from anyone. Last weeks game was a real hard hitting affair, but I don't know if any major injuries on the Cardinal side. But they could come out flat which would be enough for ND to get ahead right quick. But given the series history, more likely than not it'll come down to the final series...

1. Book is a serviceable qb but he must take care of the football. If we lose the turnover battle we are in trouble.
2. I also think it will depend on our secondary. Our Pride and Love will be tested against a qb that can throw to his big targets.
Stanford is a smart physical team that doesn't beat itself. As is customary, it should be a close game.
