ND has the easiest remaining schedule, yet have only a 58% of fewer than 2 losses?
"Not having a conference championship will help the Irish..." Huh? Everyone else says the opposite, that the lack of a championship game hurts ND.
"If the Wolverines win out and win the Big Ten title (10 percent), they’re almost certainly in." If that is true, a 12-0 ND is in because it would be utter hypocrisy (cheap shot: this guy must be a democrat) to have a team that ND beat in over ND.
Given that most of these teams absent LSU and ND have really only played one semi-tough game, it is way way too early to crystal ball this stuff.
But there is so much space to fill.............

criticize a relatively well written and researched article. And if your criticism is that it’s just mindless filler, entire segments and websites on ESPN suggest there’s a market interested in the topic.

I didn't take anything out of context.
I'd bet that if you summed up all of their "projections," you'd find they projected more than 4 teams making it.
I realize the media has to fill their space whatever the content and source. This article is just another weak effort at what is presented as "journalism" in an effort to promote their product. They should be paying the Washington Post for ad space. In the end, I'm sure they will be able to apply their logic to support that this article was right on target.
If you like it, enjoy it. I found it to be tripe.
