Link: Notre Dame's Liam Eichenberg Talks Trash: So What?
to them and playing with confidence and a bit of swagger. It’s been missing for a long while.
I'm not a fan of trash talk prior to a contest. However, I can at least respect it to some degree if the individual goes out and backs it up. If ND loses and Eichenberg plays as he has been playing the last 5 games (not well), then it is just another example of dumbfuckery. Your best bet is always to keep your mouth shut and let your play do the talking.

other than that he's expressing an attitude common to the team that 1) they're tired of all the VTU talk and having Bud Foster/Sandman stories plastered on Irish Illustrated all week long and 2) they're sick of the label that they play like pussies in a hostile environment.
Honestly, if we go down, which I don't think we will, I'd just as soon see us go as gunslingers rather than "all business". As for Liam, I've seen him in HS and he is a beast. I honestly think he was cleared to say this but there will be "radio silence" from here on in.
When I said he was cleared to say this I didn't mean the profanity. He will undoubtedly trot to a mic and express regrets as a Son of Our Lady's University for lack of self-discipline in expressing otherwise legit thoughts with gutter language. Maybe Kelly will let him ride the pine a little to let him get hungrier and let everybody else know we can beat you with our backups.

Which has happened quite a bit to him this year. Why motivate the opposition when it can to nothing but hurt you?
