It's obvious watching the replay that Pitt overwhelmed the O line on run and pass blocking. Every D coach from here on out will use the Pitt game to beat the O line and pressure Book. So Kelly and the coaches will have to decide whether they have the talent to get better or realizing that they don't, game plan to cover up your weakness. Draw plays, quick slants, screens? In the past, Kelly has exhibited a stubbornness that expects better results against all available evidence. Hopefully he has learned, or Syracuse and USC will have a field day with that line.

The OL could have played better, the RB’s certainly could have blocked better, but this is mostly a numbers game with the opposing defense sending more rushers than we have blockers, and it is fixed by hitting a few deep passes.
This is also why we weren’t running the ball well. The safeties were in the box.

We make ourselves one dimensional "for them" like scared little B's...a one dimensional ND offense is way more easy to defend, so our brainiac HC is actually helping do their job for them.
giving you. Book will be ready to deliver if called upon. He plays QB like the position was intended to be played.
