They are treating their games as practices. Their opponents aren't all that good and cannot compete with the talent on Bama. So, they just use the games as practice sessions for new plays they've been working on all week long - defense and offense. By the time the playoffs come, they will have practiced many different looks and defenses will not know what is coming at them.

isn't worth a squirt of piss.

Missouri’s D is ranked 90th in the country in terms of yards / play allowed, making them the HIGHEST ranked D (in this category) that Alabama has faced.

through the 2nd Q.
Missouri forced and recovered a QB fumble and forced the Tide into 2 FG attempts and a punt That hadn’t happened to the tide for several games. It was the lowest point total for the tide in 1st half this season and lowest point total for game this season. They did it without their 4 top players on O and missing a few key players on D
Even still, Bama was far and above the better team athletically, talent and coaching. Missouri was never really in the game.

and can get put in the CFP with one more loss than anyone else despite having played only one or two high lvl opponents always with a bye week in front of them...and your right. I am just venting because they don’t need extra advantages.
They have easily beaten every team they’ve played and have trailed once (early TD to Ole Miss in 1Q away). There is nothing at all to punish.
They play 2 games a year, - at the end to minimize surprises from lack of development that other teams risk- with a bye week in front of both games - with nonPower 5 teams sprinkled generously. And even so, they are accorded an extra loss by the CFP committee thanks to the SEC influence.
The last time Alabama had 2 or more regular season losses was 2010. Teams make it with one loss every year.
dropped out of contention. If Alabama loses - they are dropped from #1 to #4 and they still make the CFP. And the way that they schedule, there is no way they lose until the last month because of how weak their opponents are up until the very end. MAKE ALBAMA PAY FOR COWARDLY SCHEDULING.
Unlike you, i don't confer the NC to the recruitng champion, and they shouldnt get the preference that they do.
And in 2017, your premise is simply wrong. Bama opened the season against Florida State. By year end Bama had beaten two teams that finished in the Top-5, as well as playing an SEC schedule and opening with FSU. They lost to Auburn away by 8 points on Nov. 25. The only teams with legitimate gripes about being left out were Wisconsin (who had also just lost their first game to Ohio State on Dec. 2), Ohio State (two losses--one more than Bama) and UCF (don't be silly). While you may not like their non-conference schedule, think about Ball State, Northwestern, Vandy, Temple, Miami OH, Nevada, Duke, Army, UMass, Virginia on ours. Yes, I do think we schedule tougher. But the SEC schedule going into each season is expected to be very, very tough (even if some in hindsight prove a little soft).
You cannot be referring to any other seasons in which Bama were chosen for playoff game(s):
2014: Bama lost early (not late as you say) to a ranked Ole Miss team and finished the season with one loss. They played West Virginia to start season. Chosen for playoffs.
2015: Bama lost early (not late) to a ranked Ole Miss team and finished the season with one loss. They played Wisconsin to start season. Chosen for playoffs.
2016: Bama was undefeated in the regular season. They played SoCal to start the season. Chosen for playoffs.
If there was a single instance in recent history of Bama being blown out (like all other teams with the exception of Clemson), perhaps you would have a favoritism or double-standard point. But that just does not happen and they deserve everything they have earned.
