Clemson redefined that term last weekend against FSU. I'm glad that ND beat Navy by 22 points, but let's say that Pride makes that tackle and Navy only scores 14. The playoff committee takes into effect the "eye test" so that matters. Should also be noted that they flipped ND and LSU because of the need to distinguish themselves from the AP poll. 52-14 looks a lot better than 44-22. Brian Kelly cannot let off the gas and more importantly, not allow his team to let off the gas where style points matter. If ND has a chance to blow out Northwestern by 30 or more points then it should be done.

LSU jumped ND because they have wins over Miami, Auburn, UGA, Miss, and Miss St and the committee thinks that is slightly better resume than ND even with a loss.
Not because ND didn't win by 29 points against Navy.
Other than beating UGA those other LSU wins are no big deal.
beating UGA to our beating Michigan
And then feel that one loss to the #12 team isnt outweighed by the overall weak ND schedule
Alabama just needs to beat them Sat night....if LSU wins, and it is close....watch out for repeat of last year
