You are the ultimate insider. Bravo.
Otherwise, they would have put Jurko in for some specific preplanned drives or all of the 4th, or they would have saved Jurko for playing in all games later...not just 3 useless plays at the end.

He jokingly played up the QB contraversy but he kept coming back to it. Which I think is smart. You have two QBs that are very different. Preperation will be difficult this week for Cuse.
...and now has a better supporting cast.

Syracuse will be tough because they are a good team.
USC will be tough because they still have good athletes and will be primed to play the spoiler if ND is 11-0 at that point.
People act like this guy is Andrew Hendrix.
But there might not be another player in college football that has his combination of foot speed and arm strength.
Unlike Zaire, I expect him to start and be successful in his 5th year (at another school).
I think ND still puts up lots of points next week.

A number of “jump balls” or worse in any game.
Syracuse is a much better team than FSU.
The kid led ND to victory on Saturday night. But he also completed less than 50% of his passes with 2 interceptions and could have had at least 2 more picks. He also completed passes to only 4 players - compare that to Book routinely completing passes to 6-8 different guys each game. Book simply reads the coverage and sees the field better than Wimbush. If a guy is open, Book finds him.
