Offense - Book, Williams, Armstrong, Boykin, Claypool, Kmet, Mack, Weishar, Bars, Banks, Mustipher,
Defense - Okwara, Tillery, Hayes, Coney, Love, Gilman, Pride (elite speed), possibly Tranquil
Those with the potential to be 1rst Day picks:
Tillery, Okwara, Love, Banks (down the road-he’s just a soph), Bars (if he clears medical), Mustipher, Claypool
Imo.
Just for the 2019 draft:
Offense:
Sam Mustipher: Mid to late rounds
Miles Boykin: Mid rounds
Alize Mack (assuming that he has a good combine showing): Mid to late rounds. While his overall performance has been disappointing, his sheer athleticism makes him a long term project.
Dexter Williams: Early to mid rounds
Alex Bars: Late round (would have been earlier, but injuries like what he has costs you a lot of standing), probably UFA
Defense:
Jerry Tillery: 1st or 2nd round
Jonathan Bonner: Late rounds
Tevon Coney: Mid rounds
Drue Tranquill: Late rounds (again, due to a slew of injuries), more likely an UFA
Then you have Julian Love, who could be an early round pick if he left early.
Love the kid. Glad he came back. Is a big part of the rotation, and was a really necessary piece after MTA's injury. But I don't see him being on draft boards. Hope I'm wrong. Always want to see ND kids succeed.
That late round situation is dependent on his having an excellent combine showing. I'm pretty sure he'll get that invite to the combines, since every scout will be looking at all of the parts and pieces on this defense.
That being said, he was an unsung hero for a lot of this season, occupying a lot of double teams that allowed Jerry Tillery to have a monster season. The scouts who know their stuff will see this.
