While I remember seeing Rocket's punt return called back and partially became a Notre Dame fan while watching Jerome Bettis rumble through Florida in the Sugar Bowl, it was during the 1993 season that I became a full-fledged fan. I blame Rudy and the "Game of the Century," though I suppose growing up with Joe Montana as the QB for my 49ers didn't hurt either.
Unfortunately, 1994 was my first full season, which means that over my first 18 seasons as a Notre Dame fan (from 12 years old through 30 years old) the team made it through September undefeated one time - ONE TIME. I guess that makes me a bit antsy when ND fans bend over backwards trying to figure out how a 12-0 ND team that's all but assured of a playoff spot can get in a wholly unnecessary 13th game just to appease the people on Twitter who refuse to believe ND's spot in these playoffs is a sure thing.
Notre Dame's in the playoff. It doesn't matter if Alabama loses or Ohio State beats a five-loss team by 50, ND is in. There is no need to worry about ND dropping out of the top four. If all hell breaks loose this weekend, there's a better chance of ND being #1 than #5.
Chill out and enjoy 12-0 Notre Dame.

ND couldn't even start 4-0 for the better part of two decades yet so many jackasses around here can't enjoy 12-0 without getting their nipples in a twist.
Enjoy fretting over your own anxieties, FFS.
This post not so much. In case you were wondering.

rather than figuring out which NCAA conspirators will doom Notre Dame to fifth in the rankings on Sunday.
