the final rankings would most likely be
1. Clemson
2. ND
3. Georgia
4. Bama
So I guess the question is would you prefer to see ND play Clemson or Georgia in the next game. Frankly I think the Irish have a decent chance of beating either one.

Will the committee hold that against the football team?
But came away with the win.

I could see the committee going either way. I'd say ND #1 as the last standing undefeated.

C'mon, who doesn't like a good conspiracy.

Pitt could play out of their minds. I fully expect somebody big to lose this weekend. Bama, Clemson, Oklahoma, tOSU. One of them at least. Oklahoma seems the most likely to fuck up though.

We're undefeated, they're not. They would have a great win by defeating Alabama, but they also lost to LSU by 20. If they beat Alabama big, I see Clemson, ND, Georgia and then either Alabama, Ohio State or Oklahoma (and I would lean toward Ohio State).

if it was between ND-GA for the #4 spot after they just beat Bama I'd be very concerned, but there is just no reason to so they won't bother with it.
Gives them a chance to claim 'ND fairness' later on in future seasons, when it actually does matter and they get a chance to screw us.

Which I can't see them doing. UGA has to be ahead of Bama if UGA beats Bama, . . right? And I don't think they'd want to schedule a UGA/Bama rematch in the first round of the CFP, which would preclude UGA at 2 and Bama at 3.
