A minute to go after the turnover. Let so much time run off the clock for no reason. Didn’t Kelly at least want a field goal? This drives me crazy. Instead a Hail Mary to the goal line. Ugh.
improved field position somewhat. Any coach would have followed same pattern. How of ten does Hail Mary get caught out of, 1 out of 50? Who knew? Odds are more likely that if we force something it gets turned on us. Yes, time out after Jones run might have helped but we were getting ball to start second half and were already within a field goal score wise. Blame circumstance more than Kelly.

I think the closeness of this game was almost all on the coaches. Waiting until halftime to move out DB Bracy, waiting too long to stop giving the USC such a cushion once Daniels showed that he could consistently deliver on the shorter gimmies, not being ready for the blitz packages.....the ‘team finally took over”, but it was really mostly a coaching issue imo......except for the Book INT which was all on Ian.
Still, a win. Can’t do that stuff anymore now.
he got stepped on and it was 4th down. so he tosses it to the best of his ability while falling down backwards hoping that with luck our guy catches it for a touch or it goes incomplete. one of our guys was definitely close enough to snag it if the defense hadn't been in the way. hard to see all this when you're 6 inches off the ground and desperate!
worth taking the chance on letting them have the ball on their 20 consequent to the int (which is what happened, dangit). it was the right decision on his part, imho. just didn't work in our favor this time.
as you pointed out, kelly should definitely have called the t.o. everybody knew it. play-calling 101. you're right, it cost us.

to be pretty general agreement that clock could have been managed better and might have allowed for a FG to tie things at the half.
