I wonder if Brian Kelly and Jack Swarbrick really, really understand how embarrassing it is for the ND players and us fans to watch Notre Dame be embarrassed on a national stage.

at least Kelly is finally getting the talent to compete every year now even if it was not the talent Holtz got. Of course I am disappointed in today and very sad but we made bad penalties at bad times, dropped key passes at bad times and were unlucky on the kickoff call that should have never been overturned and I am still convinced that ball point never touched the out of bounds line, it was over it.
You'd half to assume that some of the large donors, Mendoza, etc are tired of being embarrassed on the national stage after 25 years, right?
No, because ND keeps giving out guaranteed extensions to head coaches who state that ND is their 'dream job,' only to manipulate and connive ND into giving them these guaranteed long-term extensions before they have proven that they are worth it by their actions and keeping their word.

...a control freak. Think about it: ND is still running these downfield passing plays that take a long time to develop, which were staples of Kelly's offense at Cincy at ND.
