I would say the same thing about Urban too. Those two are the only ones out there who proved that they could win multiple NCs and be consistently great. Urban is gone (hopefully for good) and now everyone needs to wait out Saban. Sure, he'll lose a game now and then, but that's the exception and not the rule. There simply is not another Saban out there.
POSSIBLY Dabo is, but unless he wins next week, he hasnt proven to be any better than Stoops, Carrol, Tressel, Miles, Bowden, Fisher or Mack Brown. Think about it. All of those "great" National Championship coaches and none of them were able to win more than one title despite all of the talent and institutional advantages.
Right now we need to have everything fall just right (like Kansas State not laying an egg in their final game) to win a championship. That seems to be the case for everyone outside of Bama though. Except for maybe Clemson. Maybe.
