We were told for a long time that a playoff system for college football would be the end and the all for college football. Now even more criticism. Make up your mind members of the media. Why should all of the playoff games be held in the southeast? Why shouldn't the rest of the country get a chance at those games?
ll be back.
most Bama and Clemson fans travel in RVs
could be considered a good value. Hotels, restaurants and the like are geared to the extremely wealthy who either can afford the prices or have a great T&E budget. Traffic on 101 and the bridges is horrendous, and there is no quality public transportation to the park. There are few college football fans in the area; Cal and Stanford both struggle to fill their stadiums. Flights to the west coast are long and expensive. Even football commentators have mentioned the outrageous cost of the flights. Hell, the stadium is an hour south of San Francisco, so the "many things to do" are even harder to do. San Jose is not San Francisco. I struggle to believe the normal Clemson or Alabama fan is going to attend, so they can throw on a trip to wine country, Carmel or climbing the hills of North Beach. I expect the Tuesday after the game is filled with people (actual fans) bitching about the venue.
