and the coaches seem to think he'll do very well there.
Judging by BK's remarks at the press conference, he really likes Avery Davis. I remember, however, that he was practically as effusive last year on moving AD from QB to RB.
It will be interesting to see how Avery grows into the position. His competition with Houston Griffith will be one the focal points of spring ball. I really like both players.
Shaun Crawford is apparently out for spring ball. My heart really goes out to Shaun. What a run of bad luck/injury. I hope he can come back and really compete at CB/Nickle. BK was very cryptic about Shaun and the other spring non-participants.
As to the Darnell Ewell position switch: what the hell is up with this kid? He looks like he can move mountains physically. I've never really heard a good explanation of how he has failed to measure up so far. Is it mental? Is it traits? Appreciate any input on this from anybody with any knowledge of the situation. Thanks.
It's going to be a really interesting spring practice, especially because of the increased media availability.
