Link: 5 Reasons Notre Dame Will Field A Top 10 Offense In 2019
We'll have to see how the RBs perform against opposing defenses before stating ND has a top 10 offense. Keep in mind the running game was pretty meh until Dexter returned to the field in the 5th game of 2018.
WRs also concern me in that outside of Finke & Claypool (& maybe Michael Young) there is a lot of POTENTIAL to be great. But that's all it is, potential. Austin, Lenzy & Keys could have breakout seasons but Book has to get the ball to them first & he did struggle with the long ball (see Northwestern game)
helps with moving the chains and redzone and opens pockets for RBs to get to the second level
my biggest concern on offense is honestly center. teams never seem to look good early when starting a new center.
hoping Brock Wright has a break out season. He was considered one of the top (if not the top) TE's when he was graduating from high school in Texas a few years ago.
I agree with you on Center as well. One of the few good things about our schedule is that we play a rebuilding Louisville team that "Should" be an easy W. Then we get 12 days off to work out the kinks before playing Bullet Bob Davie's New Mexico team (should be another easy W) Then another week to get things right before the season starts for real against UGA.
#2 and #1.
