Pulling the electrodes off their latest victim ( Phil Jurkovec ), and releasing him from their laboratory, the mad doctor and his assistant, sent their latest subject to play in the Blue-Gold game.
They were delighted with his performance: dropping too deep, dropping his eyes too soon on receivers, throwing too high, bouncing them in there, throwing knuckle balls, getting sacked by holding the ball too long, thinking too much, etc.
They see him as having Dayne Crist potential. A year ago, Jurkovec was an elite QB who could make all of the throws, and was a game-breaking threat as a runner. The mad doctor is thrilled with his " progress " in just one year with him; however, he is worried that Book seemed to bounce back somewhat from his dismal Clemson performance.
Not to worry, the mad doctor will get him back in the lab and hook up the electrodes. There is no way he is going to let Book ruin his perfect record of destroying QBs, his beloved "Frankenstein Monsters."
Take this shit over there.

PJ was an elite high school QB. That does not mean he is (was) an elite college QB.
doubt he will turn the ball over by fumble inside the five and have it returned for TDs twice, which Crist managed to do. Remember how bad Kizer looked in the spring game and how he came through his first year of action...albeit lucky since some of his throws hit defenders in the chest and were dropped or his fumbles were recovered by teammates.

Too many of you guys are impatient or just wrong about football Every play will not succeed and the defense is trying to perform well too. If you watch a whole game of Clemson or Alabama you will see plays that leave you scratching your head too.
WSU can go 10-2 win the Pac12 North and be first team All Pac12 and everyone would be happy.
A guy like Malik Zaire could play at Ohio University, go 10-2 and win the MAC and everyone would be happy.
I bet Alabama or OSU could easily win the NC easily with Book as QB.
With Brian Kelly as our coach and not an offensive guru like Steve Spurrier, and the reality that we will always have holes on our roster due to the Administration, guys like Zaire and Book can go 10-2 and half the fan base looks at is as a failure, they want a NC.
Due to the holes that will always be on our roster, the reality is we're not winning a NC unless we have the next Matt Leinert, Peyton Manning, or Cam Newton as QB or have the next Herschel Walker and Barry Sanders in our backfield at the same time to overcome the lack of coaching and talent.
No one is saying Book sucks, we just know we're not winning the NC with him at QB due to coaching and overall talent.

the teams on the schedule. Adding the fact that RB recruiting has been even worse than QB recruiting we're in for a couple of nail biters since we can't have an off game in the backfield.
If winning 10 games is the goal, the team is fine, but I don't think the offense can win 12 games unless Lenzy, Young, or Keys turn out to be the next Will Fuller
projecting.
