Yeah, I don't buy that "it was part of her training" bit
Cierre Wood was a child abuser, plain and simple. While he does deserve his day in court, it's pretty hard to see any outcome other than at least a life in prison term.
Cierre Wood is a disgrace to the Blue and Gold, and I doubt that anyone will stick up for him the way USC stuck up for OJ Simpson.

Most people have no idea the depths of depravity and evil to which some parents drop.
Not to depress you more, but two stories, both from my wife:
- When she taught at a tribal school on an impoverished reservation where the feds had to take over the tribe's social services because child abuse was off the charts and nothing was being done. A 4 year-old in the 4-K program had learned that if she soiled her underwear at school, she wouldn't be raped at night by a family member. BTW, in the first month my wife was at that school, two little kids in the afterschool program she ran had their throats slit by a male family member. I believe they were 4 and 6. She attended funerals for 4 and 6 year-old murder victims.
- A few years back at a public school. One of her 3rd graders who was cognitively delayed was repeatedly raped by either her mom's boyfriend or a stepfather, I can't remember. Mom knew all about it and allowed it. The damage was such that they had to operate on that little girl and she will never be able to have children. The day she came back to school, she walked into my wife's classroom carrying one of those donut cushions because that was the only way she could sit after the surgery. My wife had to step out of the room for a few minutes to cry and then compose herself again.
BTW, over the years, one observation I would make is that next nothing good comes from mom's live-in boyfriend being involved with her children.
