Duke BC and Virginia are better but all out of the top 40
My guess is that Georgia and Michigan will be top ten, leaving SC Stanford, VT somewhere from 20-40
Tier 1 Georgia and skunkbears
Tier 2. Stanford, SC and VT
Tier 3. Duke, Fredo and Virginia
Tier 4. Navy,NM, BGSU, and Louisville
Thoughts? I think our tier 3 games will be tough sledding with the run game

title run......but clearly need to go 12-0
The problem is Alabama and Clemson will be in with one loss anyway so we are playing for two spots. I would say we are one of eight teams that could potentially make it.
Understood, it just appears our SOS will be unusually poor this year save Michigan and UGA. But if our one loss is a close one early in the season to UGA and UGA does well this year then 1-loss could get us in. It hurts when we finish with only 12 games.......11-1 against 12-1 hurts us as well
Clemson and Alabama stood out and we came through every time though not as good as those teams. Three undefeated teams will not happen again. In fact some good teams will lose twice I believe.
SOS looks to be down. I think Stanford and UVa are potentially pretty good this year. VaTech might be a wild card team in line for a bounce back. USC is tough to peg. Lots of talent, but a program in some disarray.
Some of these teams could turn out to be better than predicted.....Michigan could be worse than predicted. UGA looks very strong. Our toughest games are away in two very tough stadiums. Athens will be very hot on 9/21. Doesn't really cool off here until mid-October at best.
But it would certainly hurt.
