Was at the game last night (Section 202). We ND fans need to get our shit together. Saw many, many Irish fans wearing navy blue shirts, which were completely indistinguishable from the black shirts Lu'ville fans were wearing for their 'blackout'. Added to the navy blue were an assortment of white, beige/gold and gray shirts. The university is of no help by making 'The Shirt' a different color every year, many times with ZERO affiliation to ND, such as this year's ugly gray.
The GREEN really stands out. Especially so at UGA.
IRISH WEAR GREEN!
BTW, unlike some other reports, we encountered zero crap from any UL fans all day. They were very good to us.
Have the ND pass rush harass Fromm, have the d-line shut down the run, have the ND secondary pick off a couple of passes, have the linebackers suddenly morph into competent college linebackers, have the ND offensive line dominate, have the backs hit the proper holes, have the receivers get separation, and have Book play like an elite quarterback. Do that and I would not care if Irish fans showed up in canary yellow shirts.

One of my worst experiences at ND Stadium.
The white outs at PSU are also pretty intimidating at night.
Don’t know if we would have enough fans in Athens for it to work there, but if had more fans doing it than last time at home it creates a good environment for the team. I know ND is too cool and traditional for that gimmick stuff, and all we need are some great plays, but it did have an impact when done right elsewhere.
P.S. we did have canary yellow shirts in 05.

Say what you want about the SEC or B 12, that would not happen there.
...which the Baby Jesus would certainly appreciate...and we all know that He favors Notre Dame.
