But I feel depressed too because Burrow and Ehlinger are light years away from what we saw from Book on Monday. Same goes for the offensive playcalling and creativity, it's not close.

Let’s see what he’s got. Then put Book in for the second half, throw 90% of the time, and give him strict orders to not run or even leave the pocket.
Iff Book gets on track, looks good, and Nd dominates as they should...then Jurkovec should get as much time as possible.
Key is getting Book on track prior to Georgia though....
Hell no. After that performance vs UL, Book needs all the reps he can get before UGA game. I expect PJ to be playing by mid 4th Q, but let Book pad his stats some to help build confidence even if it is against a shit team like NM.

He is a great recruiter but hardly a "damn good coach" He benefits from being in probably the best geographic recruiting location in the country bridging two great areas: Florida to the east and Texas to the west. He has the same fatal flaw that Willingham has as a head coach: he has never been a coordinator. He therefore is heavily reliant on having quality coordinators on both sides of the ball. He has that with the defense where Aranda is the highest paid, and probably best, DC in the country. He has had a revolving door at OC which shows.
One good game against a quality opponent doesn't make him a quality head coach. It is easy to predict that LSU, considering their talent, will have two inexplicable losses before the year is over.

They said Ed has beaten 11 top ten teams as head coach. Now 12. They may be wrong. You tell me.

Why isn’t it correct?

vs. top 10 before last night as an SEC HC (Ole Miss and LSU). I could only find one win vs. top 10 as USC interim -- over Stanford. That leaves it at 8 counting last night's win against Texas. If I'm missing something, please correct me. I'm always happy to be corrected if my info is wrong. I could not find any source on the internet to confirm 12 top 10 wins for Orgeron.

Not sure what your point is with that last comment. We know you got the info from ESPN's broadcast. We are just further discussing it and trying to clarify or verify it. Is that a problem?
To be honest now that it has been questioned I would be surprised if it is true. Just took it as serious since few coaches have 11 wins against top ten teams. That is all.
You put something on the board that was then discussed among several posters. Nobody got worked up over it. It was just an interesting sounding tidbit that drew some follow up.

It was an interesting item. I don't fault you for passing along what ESPN reported. I just thought it sounded hinky, so I followed up. Not trying to give you a hard time or anything. I'm still not 100% sure what the actual record is, . . couldn't find a straight-forward answer in some quick research. It's no big deal.
