They may be....I don’t know...but what makes you think Georgia is a Great team?
They played 5 games last year and went 2-3. And got blown out in one of them and their lines (offense and defense) got man handled by Texas
But thus far, ND is an enigma... and the last time we played the Bulldogs (at home, mind you), we lost. So looking at things realistically, Georgia clearly should be favored.
Right now, the OL leaves quite a bit to be desired. They don't seem to get a good push at all in run blocking, and though it seems they're more adept in pass protection, Book still has done a lot of scrambling against two not-so-imposing defenses thus far. On defense, our LB corps plays very green at times, and the DL has not been the dominant force to negate our deficiencies (again, against two not-so-impressive offenses).
I'm hopeful that ND shows marked improvement and pulls the upset, but smart money should be on Georgia right now.
It’s too early in the season for any team to have proved it is great. If I had to pick a NC team right now, though, I’d seriously consider Georgia. The only reservation for me is that I don’t think Smart is as good a game coach as Dabo and Saban. But Georgia has a ton of talent and plays well on both sides of the ball. I think -13.5 is too low. I’d love to be surprised, but I expect Georgia to win by a lot.
know some Georgia alum and many think their backups will be in by the middle of the 3rd quarter...Average prediction seems to be Dogs 35-42 ND 6-10

They won’t beat Bama or Clemson and maybe not even LSU.

They are #3 and we are #7 and yet they are 13.5 pt favorites? Quite the disparity. Looks to not even be close.

prognostications for their collective prospects in the NFL draft. But maybe the serious pundits have done a much deeper analysis.
