Kelly Steamed
Maybe I missed this somewhere on this board. I was at the game and have yet to hear an explanation. I believe it was in the 3rd quarter. Kelly ran out onto the field where he conversed with three or four officials who were all trying to walk him back off the field. He kept pointing to the north end zone, I'm guessing to a back judge and was creating quite a stir. He was really ticked off about something. Does anyone have any insight on the situation as no one around us could come up with an explanation?

It was just one time, and i'm pretty sure that image floating around had some work done to it.
You don't think Lou ever got mad on the sideline?
It was more than once and unfortunately presents a bad optic. He's pretty much curtailed it...
...in part for that reason I believe.
That said, I have no issue with him getting pissed off if it's warranted and directed at the right person.
Lou got livid more than a few times...
Kelly was trying to call a TO and the back judge didn't acknowledge him.
From there, Grimace appeared.
That seemed to be what Flutie was trying to explain during the broadcast.
Coming out of a commercial, Flutie said Kelly and the official had a laugh about it and seemed to have an understanding.
He was upset that New Mexico wouldn't let him run the football...
I don't know. Also interested to find out what that really was about...
