It's hard enough to watch ND lose yet another big game. But to wait up til midnight to endure another 4 hour game is additional punishment. The NCAA and the networks' money runs things completely re: scheduling. Why are two teams each situated far east of the Mississippi forced to play well past many of their fans bedtimes? It's just crap in my mind. No thought of the fans. I live in Toledo and avidly follow the Rockets, yet later in the season they, and other MAC teams, are forced to play Wed/Thursday night games for TV. No thought at all for students and local fans who can't attend, or maybe even watch, midweek night games.
A big hats off to U of M who a year ago or so told the NCAA and networks to pound sand when they requested they play one home Friday night game a year. U of M said that their fans enjoyed the Saturday home games. Good on them.
Fly to Hong Kong. The game will start at 10am on Friday. You'll get a good nights sleep and know the results a day before we do.
Why didn't I think of that? Also, might there be a way gambling with that knowledge?
