Alabama, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Georgia, amongst many others. Alabama always has at least two great backs and, at times, three. They have every year a power back and speed back and the backups are always great, just waiting their turn.
Wisconsin, just think of all the great backs they have had and may have the Heisman Trophy winner this year. Ohio State, enough said.
It seems to me that the last time we had backs like these schools have, it was Jerome Bettis (1990-1992) and Ricky Waters (1987-1990), one year overlap.
I know we have Kyren Williams, but we also need a power back like Ingrham from Alabama. Why can't we recruit good running backs consistently? We have no running game even when we get totally well at running back this year.

Our coach is obsessed with 3* talent and it shows majorly in the backfield...Everybody misses the days of Watters, Bettis, Brooks

that makes a world of difference and he recruited Armstrong.
