Trying to understand foorball better -- game plans, routes, etc.
One thing I noticed in the Georgia game (and more usual than I'd like) is that ND passes to a "spot." The receiver is standing still to catch the ball. With almost no chance of YAC since you are at a complete stop.
Why don't we use more slants or routes where the receiver is in stride? Are these harder to learn or execute? Is there a reason we seem to avoid these?
