ND missing the playoffs. Hard to see us breaking in this year, but stranger things have happened. It's gonna take some very unexpected things to happen.
I don’t think the loser of the Alabama/LSU game gets in and the winner should win the SEC.
I think Oklahoma and Ohio State are probably going to make it.
For ND to have a chance it seems to me most likely it will have to be Clemson that stumbles- still a long shot but they are lucky to be undefeated at this point.
I guess we have to hold our noses and hope Michigan beats Penn State- doubt they can beat Ohio State.
Still a lot of football to be played and we just have to hope ND runs the table but I still worry about the Michigan and Stanford games.
Ohio State certainly, but don't rule out Wisconsin as well. I could see the winner of the Ohio State vs Wisconsin regular season game then lose to the other in the Championship game. You would then have two 12-1 teams. Probably not likely, but definitely a possibility. Both teams have been very impressive this season.
and logic now of how a one loss ND will never get in over a one loss Power 5 team. SoS, conference championship, past blowouts, blah blah blah.
UGA runs the table and beats an undefeated Bama in the SEC title game. One-loss ND is behind both of them.
Other 1 loss teams have opportunities to impress, but they’ll have to do it on the field.
But by end of season LSU could be a one loss team or Alabama with the one loss being to the other
If Clemson and Oklahoma win out we will not make it
Assuming OSU wins out (only tough game left is Michigan who isn’t very good)
We will finish 11-1 but likely won’t be good enough
been a couple of years ago. It appears to me that we are gaining more respect and thus a little more wiggle room. Slowly but surely, we are going in the right direction.
The idea that 11-1 is such a high probability right now is amazing and it is leading to better than ever recruiting.
