D coaches have him pegged - No worry about him sending them down field. UM will try and keep ND deep
and force Book to throw dink and dunk. With a light running game, ND is in trouble.
Hope ND OLine has a great day. Book will be badly bruised by the end of this game.
as opposed to their teamwork, which is their weakness. I pray that we win and I like the guy signing off with God Bless You and hope that is a good omen for us.
Michigan has talent. It's just not utilized correctly.
But then, ND has a ton of talent and they're just figuring it out and slowly getting better.
Book is not the answer at QB - it's BK's too safe choice (like Tommy Rees was). Great backup until real talent shows up.
Maybe it's Phil Jurkovec time. He ain't gonna get better sittin' on the pines and lord knows, opposition D's know to not
worry about the deep speed threat.
more talented. Mich. is nowhere close in talent
UM waaaayyyy too much credit. ND is far superior on both lines. Michigan HAS to blitz to get pressure and stop the run. ND doesn't have to do either.
There is a massive talent advantage for ND in the trenches. Will ND's play calling take advantage of it? Will Book be able to execute and hit wide open receivers in the voids created by blitzers?
If those two questions are answered "yes".........ND wins going away.
Not worried about ND's D. As long as they don't try some "special" defense like we saw against USC, ND should be in their backfield all day.
