I believe Jafar is still a good player, but he's not a RB no matter how many times they try to give him the ball. I feel like Jahmir should be the #2 and if Jones isn't getting the job done, he should get the carries instead of Armstrong. Use Armstrong as a second RB to motion out and get the matchups you want against LBs, but I think the carries should be minimized.
Just my view from the cheap seats.
back. At least that's not his strong suit. He's a long strider that runs too upright and isn't very quick. Kid needs the ball in open space.
Jahmir, on the other hand, is a perfect between the tackles back. Quick and runs with a low pad level.
Which is why running Jafar between the tackles over and over against VT, while Jahmir sat, was F&%$ING STUPID!!!!
But, as some have already pointed out.......Kelly happens sometimes.
up against a linebacker so he can use his speed and agility advantage as a receiver. That is, if he's healthy and playing full-speed, which seems in doubt. Given the folks coming in at RB, maybe it would be wise to move Jafar back to WR full time

He is the greater talent though, IMO. But only if he's confident and decisive.
Kelly moved him to RB because his recruiting is swiss cheese. He doesn't have any RB skills, ala recognizing a hole, ect. He's also quite slow since his injury.

At a minimum appears to be more powerful through arm tackles, and even might be quicker in short bursts
