of all his players talents in games. It’s not like Lenzy has been an unknown.
houses, most downvote you. As they, just like Kelly, can't see the talent and instead cheer all the 5* bust or the guys that have more "upside" and statistically look good on paper but terrible in games.
Like Kelly, these downvoters only come around to the fact that the player is good once he's finally given a chance and wins start rolling in because of it. 2018 examples Dexter Williams and Ian Book.
It's actually pretty mind-boggling and very much confirmation bias.

I don't believe for a second that any coach purposely decides to not play a more talented player if they can do what they need to do. They are playing him. Maybe, he is playing in limited situations because he has limited success in practice with some of the plays the team will run.
time.
He said coaches do play favorites and definitely allow certain players to get away with stuff they don't allow others to. In his case, he rode the pine for 3 years. Transferred down to play immediately and had 2 years of playing and was all-american / all-conference, 1 or both years and ended up getting drafted.
Had he stayed at the big-name school, bit his tongue and not transferred, he never would have played... much less made it to the NFL.
