No, he doesn’t have a cannon of an arm, but that was about 50-yards perfectly thrown to a legit track star in stride. He’s got a good enough arm for the long ball.
What’s being overlooked is the pass protection by the line, and especially the running backs. It was pretty solid Saturday.

so he doesn't like to throw those, because of a lack of confidence, probably too much of a perfectionist.
He didn’t do that last week. That 40 yarder sideline throw across the body while running was also no joke.
but he is not there yet. I hope he continues to improve and has a good year in 2020- unless he gets fed up with internet haters and goes somewhere else.

At least we'll always have that catch...
His role will be greatly expanded next year and why would he want to sit out a year? This would make no sense and I have yet to hear any transfer rumors on any site.
...may opt out.
No sitting out a year with a waiver...
He’s a Freshman who got to start a few games this year. He is set to get a starting spot next year. I’m not concerned with his tweets. Dude is only 18 or 19.
Edit...And what reason would he be granted a waiver?

throw deep
In fact when set he throws a nice long ball.
Maybe a little too much adrenaline or worried whether he has the arm for it. Hitting a few like that should help his confidence. Yeah, it's Navy, but they were pretty throws on target and in stride regardless of the opponent. Seemed to do a bit better with not showing as much happy feet.
