At least we’re ahead of 10 win Minnesota and Cincinnati. This is what happens when you get blown out and ridiculed on national television every year. There are consequences to the Miami and Michigan games.... no one believes Kelly can beat a top team.
But hey I was told 30 wins in 3 years makes Kelly Lou’s equal. Jack and Brian are the best. This is probably the new dream season until USC hires a real coach. Then 9-3 will be the new standard and we will be frightened with the ghost of Frank Solich to give Kelly new coats of paint. Welcome to purgatory.
Seriously a program that really valued its history would aim higher and make the necessary changes to reach for truly elite status instead of scheduling gimmicks.

ranked ahead of ND last year even though we stomped them and had a better record, no reasonable person could accept that absurdity then, nor can they now a year later when the situation is reversed.
The UM game had consequences - probably for next year as well. Kelly gave the ND haters a reason to vote us down now, and an excuse to vote us down in the future.
will last into the pre-season voting.
And I have my doubts that either of those things is likely to happen...
i can dream, can't I?

8 teams ranked ahead of us have a stronger SOS. They deserve to be ranked ahead of us. Everyone has several weak teams on their schedule. Everyone. Hell, Clemson hasn't played a ranked team all year.
It’s our best win. Everyone else is a patsy. The ACC teams suck. Virginia probably helps our schedule strength. I wouldn’t expect them to beat Tennessee or Mississippi 2-3 times. You can make an argument SEC teams play garbage but they play better top end teams. There would be no 10-2 for us there. Hell so does the Big G now. Clemsons schedule is atrocious but they have proven they can win big games. We have proven the exact opposite. And really how far exactly are umass, bowling green and New Mexico from FCS? And I know sometimes ranked powerhouse Navy is better than they used to be.
Look I think we have great players receiving less than great coaching and running a sorry scheme that is exposed by every team of similar talent With good coaching I watched our 4 play 8 yard pass caught by player who wasn’t the intended target scoring drive vs Georgia. It was awful. For all the heart the defense played with the game was closer than it should have been. How many false starts? Not ready to go with the silent count. It’s coaching. Michigan was Michigan a complete fn curb stomp in the vein of Miami beating us with their turnover chain. Everyone we beat simply didn’t have the athletes to do it even if they knew how to do it. Lea is showing what the defense is capable of. Kelly is preventing the offense from doing the same.
Based on what I see in the NFL there is no reason to think we shouldn’t be able to be an elite team others are wary of playing.
But cool if you’re happy with 10-2 and the quality of the schedule. I don’t spend anymore money on ND merchandise or tickets anymore anyway. That will change only when a coaching change is made.

That’s hard to grasp?
Nix as a young QB looked like a rookie in that one. UF fumbling all game long. Meh, not a good team
