top seven will remain.... Clemson LSU and Ohio State......with Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida and Oregon
my best guess 8-10 will be
8.Alabama 11-2
9.Penn St 11-2
10.Notre Dame 11-2
11-15 is a little tougher to predict, here are my thoughts
11. Baylor 11-3
12. Minnesota 11-2
13 Utah 11-3
14.Memphis 12-2
15. Iowa 10-3 or Wisconsin 10-4

the hitch will be if they catapult someone, Minnesota could leap the Irish No way BAYLOR SHOULD REMain ahead of ND, its a gift enough for the terrible Big 12, for Okla to remain in top 10..

It would be justifiable to put Minnesota ahead of us.

Or was it 1989? Usually there is one or two writers whose ranking for us is skewed way heavily bad. The more I try to remember I think 1993.

They lost to the 6th ranked team....
Then the entire conference got rolled in bowl season.
As for Baylor, we have two common opponents, Georgia and Iowa State. We went on the road, lost by six, lead at halftime. Outgained us by 18. They got a neutral site, Georgia sitting 12 starters, went down 19-0 then 26-7, lost 26-14. Outgained by 85. They beat ISU by 2, outgained them by 11. We beat them by 24, outgained them by 183.
Only other team they beat of note os Ok State, who is now 8-5. Beat 3-9 Rice by eight, that's not good. Not super compelling for them.
It’s circular evidence. Neither one have proven to be Top 10 material outside of playing each other.
I think that we are a lot better, but the committee wants to punish ND for not being in a conference. It is up to Kelly to avoid 10/26’s, and he failed miserably. Redemption cannot be achieved through tomato can kicking.

Except for the Top 4, correct?
They just beat Auburn and beat PSU. What was our best win?? Navy. I wouldn't say we are better...based on what?
I will say that we Have been playing with a Kelly handicap that MN did not.
and why the hell does that matter in the final polls
The Kelly "handicap" is our problem; not theirs
