agree that if Kelly wins a National Championship at Notre Dame you all are not permitted to enjoy it? Only seems fair to me.

it'll be the players. I'll enjoy the shit out of the lads winning a title while still acknowledging all that BK has done to warrant all the scorn.
That said, ND ain't winning a title with BK at the helm. So it's a moot point.
Another 10 years and surely even Kelly Version 4.2.1 can slip, fall, n land on a 'ship.

not just the results of the last few years.
I said this years ago, even if BK wins a lot of games (or a championship), which he is doing now, he'll still be a narcissistic, self serving asshole. And he is.
Some of you blinded by a few wins against teams ND should beat soundly are ridiculous in your defense of a man that throws everyone and their brother under the bus at the first sign of trouble.
Look at the man, not just recent TEAM results.
BK keeps his coaches who aren't good enough too long and jeopardizes his earnings and future, yet he's self serving.
BK plays less talented guys because he rewards those that do the right things but he is an asshole. Even though again, it jeopardizes his future.
Almost every press conference he says "I have to coach better" but he's a narcissist who blames everyone else.
BK drools over his kids abilities every year when he gets asked about them, even though once we see them on the field they aren't great. Yet he throws them under the bus.
You hate Kelly cause you don't think he is a good enough coach. That's fair. Don't make yourself look like soft by claiming Kelly is a sociopath and he hurts your feelings. Toughen up bud
You're pointing out a few things he's done correctly and calling it the rule on BK. It's not. Look at his reactions when pressure is on, not when he has time to prepare a statement or response. Pressure brings out who a person is at their core and BK throws everyone and their siblings under the bus when pressure is applied. Fact.
You'd be singing a different tune if ND wasn't winning games. But because ND is winning now, BK is a great guy. Gerry Faust must be a piece of shit in your eyes, despite the fact that he's a tremendous human being, by all accounts.
And knock it off with the internet tough guy nonsense. Makes you look like a flaming red pussy sitting in your moms basement.
I have never said BK is a good guy. You put those words in my mouth.
I'd be in favor of firing BK under the right circumstances. I wanted BK fired 2014 and 2016.
I'm not just an emotional wreck when in comes to a coach of a college football team. Probably was at one point of my life.
Kelly wasn't fired, he's now winning, he's changed (probably not enough), and there aren't a lot of options of firing him that turn out well for ND. Unless we get lucky and our 20th option ends up being a home run.
Please give me the examples of BK being a narcissist?
Because he blamed a center once? What else? Just saying "Fact" doesn't make it true. Meyer, Saban, Dabo, and almost all successful coaches throw people under the bus from time to time. Hell Saban throws the fans under the bus.
Should they be fired?
I don't think BK should be fired. He's an excellent manager of the program. A bad OC and QB coach, but excellent as a program manager. The program is in great shape, comparatively, because of him. IMO recruiting, player development and the assistants are really good.
As for the his narcissism, that's a looooong list. Suffice to say his consistent lauding of his own achievements and experience while having great difficulty accepting blame for team failures are pretty indicative of a narcissistic personality.
Saying "this wouldn't have happened if I'd have been around more" (after firing everyone after 2016), pretty much sums it up.
Just saying it doesn't make it true.
this morning pointing a few incidences out. Read em, don't read em, makes no difference to me. I'm not here to educate you on spotting a narcissist when you see one.

It's a team. Everyone shares in wins and losses.
But that's one of the problems with BK.........it's ALWAYS someone else's fault. It's the players that he didn't recruit, it's the center who can't snap the ball from shotgun in a hurricane, it's the assistant coaches who fail when he isn't able to be around enough........Someone always fails BK and causes losses. If everyone just did what he says, how he says it, ND would be undefeated under his leadership. Just ask him.
He's gotten better in 2.0 (prolly because he has PR people telling him he looks like an ass blaming everyone else and not taking responsibility himself) but he still uses a lot of "I" and "we" when things go right, and "they" and "them" when things go wrong.
If you pollyannas can't see that, along with all the other overly self serving things he says and does, no one can help ya.
How well do you know him personally and when did you get your PhD in psychology? I admit I don't know the man or have a psychology degree, so I hesitate to talk like I know him. I also don't read People magazine and like and dislike Hollywood celebrities or follow the royal family (I am just funny that way).
on BK to make comments on his character. He is the head coach at ND afterall. I don't need to sleep with someone to be able to make an informed opinion on who they are as a person, as long as there is plenty of behavioral information available. As there is with BK.
I don't follow celebrities, royals or get the whole fascination with them either. So, there, we have something in common.

I presume, most, like myself, love the University and support the student athletes at ND. I am dubious whether Kelly will get it done. Some say he has been close twice, but has he? His propensity of not being competitive in big games is disturbing, but I will still root for his teams as much as I did Holtz', Ara's, as well as Willingham's, Weis', and Davies. I reiterate my stance that it takes a special coach to win a NC at ND. 4 of the 5 are among the greatest of all time and Devine was very good and had the GOAT at QB. Kelly is a C plus, but I will support his teams. Rooting interests have little or nothing to do with the coach.
How many other coaches have even been close at schools that give a damn about recruiting players who at least have a chance of graduating? Sure, you have players who do care at Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia. But lets get real, all those schools and a lot more will find ways to get "difference makers" to come in for a couple years even though a lot of them couldn't spell "cat" if you spotted them the C and A. At least ND tries, although not always sucessfully.
Could Urban Meyer have won at ND back in the day he manipulated those morons White & Jenkins and then went to Florida? No, and he knew that. Holtz told him that, told him to go to Florida. At least today, ND is closer to being a place where a Championship is possible than at any time in the last 25 years. Can they do better than Kelly with their next hire? Quite probably.
LSU is an anomaly this year. I’d be curious to see if they can replicate next year. Historically they have been an underachieving team. Once they get a QB from one of the power teams, the finally get over the hump.
Oklahoma is so grossly overrated anymore it’s not even funny. They have gotten blown out the last two times they’ve been in the playoffs. They haven’t won a playoff in 4 tries. The Big12 is an hugely overrated conference. I hope the committee is finally starting to see that.
The only power programs are Alabama, Clemson, and OSU.
In the big spot

Why not just be like bama and claim 40.
knowingly was done..and it was self reported, something no other schools do..and finally it s a BS penalty y anyway, did the NCAA refund any money for the games "not played"
