We got a quick glimpse of his talents in the 2018 Ball State game. He displayed a physicality and burst as a running back and skill and productivity as a receiver. He could truly be the breakout player this season.
One game does not make a bell cow back.
All the talent in the world does not make a bell cow back.
I get there there are a variety of reasons to why he hasn't demonstrated #1 back performance to date.
Whatever the reasons, I have seen little in the running of Armstrong to see him even as good as any combination of Dexter Williams/Tony Jones/ Josh Adams.
And I really don't care who becomes the bell cow back. It would be nice if someone did.
