I've seen several articles that indicate that the priority for teams will be to 'get in conference games' in the event of a shortened season. How will that affect ND? It seems that the ND game will be cut out of most teams' seasons. Have you seen a discussion of this possibility anywhere? I'm not super-excited about a season of other D1 independents--New Mexico State, BYU, Army, UMass and Liberty. While we might be able to eek out an undefeated season, it would be pretty depressing.
LSU would be interested I promise
LSU, Clemson, USC.

And they’d be pissing off their fans who do to want to see USC playing Washington State or Wisconsin playing Minnesota.
Right now, unis, including P5s, are facing some major economic disasters. Millions of students, and their parents, are realizing it's stupid to get in debt for thousands of dollars to attend a uni during a Depression. Many unis are facing bankruptcy if they cannot fill their dorms, which are their profit centers. Schools in the MAC, Sun Belt, Big Sky, know there's a very good possibility they'll not survive. For a wealthy school to force a far poorer one to show up for a meaningless football game, or you'll be sued, is an incredibly rotten thing to do...
