I'm in my 60s and the phrase "Notre Damers" is a very off sounding phrase to me. Most people who know me and know I'm from ND, especially other Domers, use that phrase. I am either a "domer", "from ND", "went to ND," "ND Guy".
When I hear the phrase "Notre Damer," I get ready to hear snotty comments.
I know you didn't mean it that way but I don't hear "Notre Damer" very often.
