I mean, if the Miami thugs had not failed to show up against the Mormons... it would not have been close.
The bigger blow to Ismail's candidacy was his relatively limited touches. It may have been because Holtz knew he was prone to getting dinged up, but he only had 6 touchdowns. There were a lot more stats that were there to be had.
Agreed on Detmer, but he battled his ass off in that Miami game. Take that away, and David Klingler was actually a better Heisman candidate.
Pure bullshit call..,..
is simply ridiculous unless morality is put back in the top priority of all the NCAA sports.
Private award by a private entity

Reggie Bush was a generational player. Easily in the top ten of all the college players I've ever seen, and I'm so old I fart dust. There's no question he was the deserving winner.
Whether he formally has his award reinstated is immaterial. I've always considered him a Heisman winner, with or without the award.
USC cheating is not news. It's who they are and what they do. I'm glad they were penalized. F them. As for Reggie getting his Heisman back, I just don't care either way.

It's no different than having to be subjected to posts on this forum that have nothing to do with sharing information and opinions as to how Notre Dame is recruiting, or with respect to performances on the football field, both past and present. I am sure that there are many other blogs out there that give people sufficient opportunities to opine on their perspectives regarding politics and race relations. If not, perhaps they might just want to turn on their favorite cable news channel to affirm whatever makes their viewers feel better.

This statement was deliberately formulated in this style so it would be about politics. He could have called Bush a liar in many other ways that were more about football, but he deliberately chose to make a politicized statement. So do not be a douchebag.

Was it only black administrators that promoted the graft????

Perhaps you are better suited to root for Alabama, Georgia, or some other Mason-Dixon team. This is what the University of Notre Dame stands for.

The irony of a bunch of old white guys losing their shit all fall over whether they win games is kinda funny.

and nothing more. I treat all people the same, regardless of color. I refuse to chastise myself for being white

Therefore, black lives matter only when it reinforces a certain narrative. To deny that is to deny reality. Therefore, black lies DO matter.

Why would I or anyone apologize for their skin color? It's not an accomplishment or a failure regardless of what your skin color is. So, what does anyone have to apologize for.

There's a reason you haven't heard a damn thing about that.
