There are no studies or evidence, outside of anecdotal correlations, that can show COVID-19 might cause long term complications.

I make the point that these programs already know that coronavirus presents minimal risk to their players without other risk factors, and thus they are more likely to engage in this.
I would argue that since there are those with risk factors who are not known yet that the NCAA should simply cancel this season.
Also, there are the at risk contacts.
But lets not pretend that Coronavirus is a real threat to the low risk athletes-they already take a higher risk to their lives by simply playing D1 football.
