It was awesome to see us dominate a team we should in a way we should. The game plan was much better and fits our talent better.
Tremble is a monster blocker and this wrinkle should be used every week. This was nice to see and made a big difference.
It was great to see the depth that really showed for the first time in as long as I can remember.
It was great to see BK get new guys on the field early and let them play meaningful minutes.
We have 3 good backs. Tyree reminds me of a smaller (at least visually) Tarean Folston.
It looked like there was a lot less of those telegraphed, delayed handoffs from the shotgun, and more of the straight ahead, hard-charging runs.
I also liked the fact that whoever was calling the plays (whether it be Rees or Kelly) FINALLY understands the value and effectiveness of a simple quarterback sneak on 3rd and 1.
Also, lining up under center, and using a fine lead blocker in the way of Tremble, had their defense gassed by the end of the 1st half.
On defense, Clark Lea called a solid game. I'm surprised that he called as many aggressive blitzes as he did, but if there were ever a time to do so, it was when they were left with no choice but to use mostly passing plays.
