That throw to Avery Davis was the best throw of Ian Book’s career and an even better route by Davis.

That aside, last night was the first time in years I saw true confidence in the Notre Dame football team. It’s the first time in a long time I saw a team that wasn’t afraid or intimidated or fell apart when things looked bad against a superior football team. Say what you want about coach Kelly, but that comes from coaching.

He finally found a home. He’s looked good in the slot this year.

I’m not looking to argue bro. On paper and according to the “experts”, yes Clemson was the better team....even with a backup qb. That’s why they were favored. For the past few years there’s consistently been the top one through four teams in the country and Notre Dame has been on the outside at number 5 or close. Clemson has been in that 1-4. Notre dame just showed they belong in that 1-4.

They are better on paper, deep with 4 & 5 stars but we can beat them as we showed.

Davis needs to stay at receiver. Solid.
