That score shouldn't have been that close, though, had Harbaugh given up on the Milton experiment earlier on.
That situation reminds me of how we were when we were trying to get Brandon Wimbush back into a groove in 2018, and ended up plugging in the guy with less physical talent.
Their offense is tantamount to a mid-level high school team with slow receivers and no QB. I am as much of a UM hater as anyone ever but can't imagine what has become the reality there. Guess when every opponent you ever played was treated with disdain and disrespect, it comes back to bite you in the ass when they are all pulling against you. Right Donald? Karma is a bitch. As I always said, I never failed to respect any opponent and appreciate their effort and never hated any of them..unless it was Michigan.
Joe Milton looked awful, and has looked terrible for most of this year. It's as if he got a case of the yips, and can't hit a receiver in stride, or gets them killed reaching for his inaccurate passes.
Once Harbaugh put in McNamara, the offense has been clicking decently. I can see why Brian Kelly wanted this guy, since I think he would have been a very good fit with our offense.
