I feel he would be a great compliment to who we have now... especially behind the line we are building. Hope he sees it that way as well.

realize that the train is leaving the station. He tweeted "#RespectTheDecision", but he should realize that such respect goes both ways. I hope he is smart enough to not waste such an opportunity.

.....saw him at Detroit McKenzie. I was finishing med school, and decided to watch him when he played nearby since I knew that he was going to ND. They gave him the ball and he scored a touchdown...nobody could tackle him. He also ran past them as he was faster as well.
In my life, I can think of only one player in high school that I have seen who was more dominant than Jerome Bettis in football.......and that was Magic Johnson in basketball at Lansing Everett.
If this kid goes to ND, and if he is half of what Bettis was, we will have a great one.
By the time he was starting, he was already at 247 lbs.
While his best time while he was a pro was around 4.68, I had never seen any power back that size have that kind of a quick burst, and get to top speed like he did. I still remember the Sugar Bowl, where he just blew by the vaunted 6th ranked rushing defense of the Florida Gators, that supposedly had a half dozen starters who could run a 4.5 or better, and seeing them hunched over, gasping for air towards the end.
