I would love it if Notre Dame added Estime today because we don't have a "big back". C'bo runs hard but dude is not a big back. He's pretty slender actually. Estime will be the biggest back on the roster the day he steps foot on campus.
The Ghee recruitment is pretty wild in this day and age since it went so quiet up until Signing Day. That almost never happens in this day and age of recruiting coverage. Stealing a DB from LSU is never a bad thing though.
Wrap up these 2 and then remind Diggs why he committed in the first place and I am fully on board with this class.
Big fan of Estime. Is Ceyair Wright in the mix with ND? I was encouraged when he re-visited ND over Thanksgiving and then “confidence level” of 247 predictions of him to USC fell from high to medium. I guess he announces in January. I’d be surprised if he lands at ND, but haven’t heard anything since his visit.

Wright has always been a bit of a stretch for Notre Dame and if you can land Ghee today, I think you call it a day in the secondary.

And then figure out how to make room? Or tell Diggs the ship sailed? I had long ago written Wright off, until the recent developments of his revisit and the shifting recruiting service projections (both at 247 and Rivals). But he'd be generally considered one of the top 3 or 4 commits in the class if ND got him. He'd be the #1 defensive recruit (by by 247 rating) for ND's class if considered a CB. He'd be the #2 skill position recruit for ND if considered a WR (barely behind Buchner). Tough to say "no" to a kid like that. I wonder if Ghee is further indication that ND is just out of it for Wright. Too bad. He is a phenomenal athlete.
Just not sure where it comes from right now. The new transfer rules could end up opening a lot fo spots too since the barrier for transferring is so much lower now that it could create a free for all.
This class was originally going to be small and now it looks like it'll be > 25.

We will have 4 good CBs, especially Riley. Then, we will have 2 good safeties. Gee will be a 6'3 free safety/ centerfielder and Walters will be a strong safety who can move up in the box and knock your jock off.
BTW, it's Gee, not Ghee.
Looks like a good player. Funny how things happen behind the scenes without word getting around.
