The gist is for the most part Kelly lets his young talent marinate on the bench until they "know how to play football the right way" when he should be utilizing them and getting them experience in their first to years. There isn't one elite team that doesn't practice this as part of their program as he pointed out.
It was well thought out, well supported and pretty spot on.
He also pointed out that Kelly is better but he's chasing a style of football from 7-10 years ago and the game has changed. He's not an innovator and has proven to suffer against the elites because they are one step ahead and it shows in the records against those teams.

Driskell is a voluble and can be a bit annoying, but his 12/22 podcast about Kelly not playing freshman and Kelly's historical lack of counter-schemes/adjustments, makes a lot of sense!
He criticized him for using excuses for not getting his freshman talent in the game and used examples of other schools finding ways to get Freshman in the game.
